Annabelle // Occupational Therapist

Annabelle is an Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting children, adults, and their families to be proud of who they are, and to meaningfully do the things they need and love in their everyday lives.

Annabelle graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Annabelle looks forward to supporting people of all ages with a wide range of support needs. Before becoming an Occupational Therapist, Annabelle worked a kids gym coach and support worker.

When not at The SPOT Centre, Annabelle enjoys playing AFL, travelling, and relaxing at the beach with a good book.

Chelsey // Occupational Therapist

Chelsey has a passion for working with children. Her goal is to help children grow in confidence to reach their potential to engage in their day-to-day activities, play and have fun. Chelsey is passionate about ensuring that her practice is focused and tailored to the individual needs of each client and family, within a warm, safe and supportive environment.

Chelsey has a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy Degree.

When Chelsey is not at The SPOT Centre, she enjoys travelling, discovering great food, exercising at a pilates studio and immersing herself in an inspiring podcast.

Gemma // Occupational Therapist

Gemma is a home-visiting Occupational Therapist who works in the area of home modifications, assistive technology and falls prevention. Gemma is passionate about increasing client’s independence and safety in the home and community environments to enhance their quality of life.

Gemma has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree and a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree, both from Deakin University. Gemma is also a qualified reformer Pilates instructor and is a strong advocate for living an active lifestyle.

When Gemma is not at the SPOT centre you will find her out running, in a pilates class, hunting down the best baked goods in Melbourne, planning her next overseas adventure or relaxing and spending time with family, friends and her pet cat.

Genna // Senior Occupational Therapist

Genna is an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist who has specialised in the areas of Complex Home Modifications, Assistive Technology and falls prevention. Genna is highly passionate about working together with people in their homes and other community settings and maximising their participation, access and safety in their most valued occupations.

Genna graduated from Curtin University of Western Australia in 2010 and has dedicated her career to providing quality, client-centered interventions.
Genna enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for this area through the supervision of therapists and other mentoring opportunities.

You can find Genna playing footy on the weekends or scoping out new restaurants in Melbourne!

Rachel // Speech Pathologist

Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University and has also completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.

Rachel has experience working with toddlers through to adults and has a special interest in working with preschool and school-aged children using a family-centred approach. Rachel is passionate about delivering neurodiversity affirming practice and shows a strong commitment to client care. Rachel has a keen interest in paediatric language, social communication, speech, stuttering, orofacial myology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Rachel is passionate about working with children to help achieve their communication goals in a fun and supportive environment. Rachel is excited by continual professional development.

She is trained in the Lidcombe Program, Colourful Semantics, Hanen Program - More Than Words and Gestalt Language Processing – Meaningful Speech. Rachel is a Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a proud member of the Victorian Stuttering Interest Group. Rachel was also involved in the review and entering process of the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals – Preschool 3 rd Edition, Australian and New Zealand (CELF-P3 A&NZ) Standardisation Project.

When not at work, Rachel loves being active, spending time with her family and friends, cooking up delicious new food and playing with her Cocker Spaniel, Bron.

Chloe // Speech Pathologist

Chloe graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University.

Chloe has experience working with toddlers through to adults and is most passionate about supporting preschool and school aged children, in the areas of speech, language, and literacy development.

Chloe adopts a family-centred approach in her practice, empowering parents and caregivers to support their children's communication goals. She is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practices, ensuring that therapy is both fun and engaging. Chloe also has experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families, tailoring her interventions to meet their unique needs.

Chloe is trained in Colourful Semantics (CS), Ultimate Play Based Course, Promoting Communication Tools for Advancing Language in Kids (PC TALK) and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) by Meaningful Speech. Chloe has completed the Liberator Australia Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Assessment & Implementation Training.

Chloe is a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.

Outside of work, Chloe loves baking, pilates, travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Rochelle // Speech Pathologist

Rochelle graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology, and a Master of Speech Pathology. She enjoys working closely with children and their families to help them achieve communication competence.

Rochelle has experience working with toddlers through to adults and is most excited about working with pre-school and school aged children. Whilst she works with children to improve their speech and language, she is most passionate about working with those who stutter to increase their fluency. Rochelle loves providing therapy especially for pre-school aged children who stutter and seeing the impact that it has on their communication, wellbeing and overall confidence, as well as the broader positive impact that it has on a child’s family.

Rochelle also has a keen interest in orofacial myology and providing tongue thrust therapy for people of all ages, particularly as she understands the profound impact that a tongue thrust may have on a person’s mouth posture, swallowing and even consequently on their speech and overall health.

Rochelle is also certified in the Orton-Gillingham approach for literacy and dyslexia and enjoys working with children to improve their overall literacy and see their confidence grow in reading, writing and overall school engagement.

Rochelle also works with children who have pragmatic language/social communication difficulties and can support families in providing pragmatic language assessments for the purpose of ASD diagnoses.

As Rochelle is a bilingual Russian speaker, she particularly enjoys working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and tailoring therapy to the needs of children and their families. She enjoys getting to know children and families and using a child’s interests to make therapy fun and interactive.

In her spare time, Rochelle enjoys going to Pilates, exploring Melbourne's cafes, and binge-watching the newest crime dramas whilst always planning her next holiday to Japan.

Dasha // Registered Psychologist

Dasha graduated with a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University. Before becoming a psychologist, she spent over a decade working in a neuroscience laboratory, exploring brain structures. Her deep understanding of brain development informs her practice, allowing her to provide comprehensive developmental assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

Dasha is passionate about mental health and dedicated to helping young minds thrive. She understands that every child’s journey is different and works collaboratively with families to create practical, effective solutions. With a deep respect for diversity, she ensures her approach is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and reflective of each family’s unique values and experiences. Dasha strives to foster a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her dog, and riding her bike around Melbourne.

Jasmine // Registered Psychologist

Jasmine is a Registered Psychologist with passion and experience working with children, parents, and families. Jasmine adopts a client-centred approach which enables her to provide meaningful support to the children and families she sees.

Jasmine implements appropriate, ethical based interventions, whilst also providing parent and family support to enable holistic support for your child outside of the therapy space. Jasmine recognises the importance of highlighting the strength of your child and utilising their strengths to aid in the therapeutic process.

Jasmine has worked closely with children, parents, families, schools, and external supports. She has experience supporting neurodivergent children, including Autism, ADHD, and learning challenges. She also has experience with children with anxious presentations, trauma and mental health challenges.

Jasmine strives to ensure that all children and families are as best supported in relevant aspects of their lives, including offering assessments where relevant and appropriate.

Jasmine has recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne and has experience across a range of therapeutic modalities and adapts therapies as required to fit with the individual needs and interests of each child, parent, and family.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys spending time outside and engaging in physical activity, playing with her dogs, and being creative through art, playing the piano, and sewing.
